The War Of The Weasels
Grave news, have I. An enemy long thought defeated has returned once more to plague my people. A fleet, commanded by the Angels of Death has located a slaver camp operated by the Weasels of the Brotherhood of Nivalis, our mutual enemy. Followed, we have been, by these vile creatures from our ancestral home in Siberja and once more they steal our young and our breeders, flaying the very skins from their backs.
Loyally have we badgers served the Gryphons these years and asked little in return. Now I stand before you all and bid those of you who are strong of arm, devout of faith and quick of mind to stand with us so we may once more rid ourselves and our new home of such villainy.
Friends and Allies, this is a call for assistance in our darkest hour.

Bookings are now being taken for the Gryphons Spring Event, The War of the Weasels. The event will be held at Stockwood, gloucester on the weekend of the 20th-22nd March 2009. Two of the three roundhouses will be available for player accomodation on request but this will be on a first-booked basis. All other players & monsters will be required to camp.
The event will be priced as follows:
£35 booked before February 28th
£40 booked before March 15th
£45 on the gate by prior arrangement only
FREE monsters* (and you will receive a monster token redeemable against the cost of booking a future event)
The event will be catered by Jade Lotus and meal tickets will be priced at £20, payable in advance.
Monster Point tokens are redeemable against the cost of this event and there is space for this on the booking form. Please indicate the number of points you are redeeming and subtract that from the cost of the Admission Fee (discounts do not count towards Meal tickets). Don't forget to enclose the tokens with the booking form!
Under 16s are welcome at the event but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and will not be allowed to engage in mass combat.

* Like many event organisers we're short of monsters, especially monsters with bows and bow competencies. It would be great to see members of the Archers' guild there in any capacity but monsters would be very much appreciated.
